Inspired by the darker imagery associated with Norse mythology, the Skull Carved Axe combines a dramatic hand-forged axe head with an extensively carved solid Rosewood handle. At 23 inches, this piece has a distinctive presence while remaining compact enough for display and collection.

The defining feature is the deeply sculpted 3D skull carving on both sides of the handle, positioned directly beneath and close to the axe head. Each skull features defined eye sockets, nasal details, and intricate carved ornamentation, surrounded by Nordic-inspired textures and knotwork.

The hand-forged steel head introduces its own distinctive blade geometry, featuring a deep bearded Skeggøx-inspired profile with a sweeping dual-crescent cutting shape, detailed skull-and-knotwork etching, an ornamental socket border, and a polished cutting bevel.
